Sons of War

SONS OF WAR deals with the relationship that existed between the director and his father with regard to the fathers service as a tank crewman in Europe during World War Two, the directors insatiable curiosity with respect to his fathers war experiences and the fathers refusal to share any of that time of his life with his son.

The son, throughout his life, was relentless in terms of trying to understand how the fathers war experiences may have influenced his post war life and more specifically to what degree thier relationship had been effected by those experiences. Narrative is by way of a letter the director has written to his father since his passing ten years ago.
