The GI Spirit Award is presented to an actor/producer/director who best embodies the spirit of a GI in the creative and philanthropic work.  The 2007 GI Spirit Award recipient was award-winning actor Gary Sinise.

The 2008 GI Spirit Award will be presented to Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight, who invests his time in visiting our nation’s wounded warriors.
