GI Film Festival, which will be held on Memorial Day Weekend

Ronald
Reagan
Building
and
International
Trade
Center
in
Washington

DC
, is pleased to announce that military veteran and filmmaker
Jonathan Flora has joined the festival’s Entertainment
Advisory Committee. Last
year, Flora participated in the festival’s well-received
“
Hollywood
and the Military” panel discussion.
Flora
is a veteran of
the U.S. Army’s 82d Airborne Division, and an
award-winning producer for the worldwide DVD releases by The
Walt Disney Company in
Burbank
,
California
, including Disney Pictures,
Touchstone Pictures, Miramax Films and Hollywood
Pictures. In
addition, Flora directs commercials and music videos.
As a writer, his articles and columns have been
included in numerous publications and websites.
Jonathan
is also the writer/director of A
Distant Thunder, the critically acclaimed and
award-winning movie that is changing hearts across the
nation, including numerous screenings on Capitol Hill.
Jonathan and his wife Deborah recently received a
letter from President Bush thanking them for their efforts.
