You must be a currently-registered, full-time
or part-time school student.

Contest is open to all public, private, and religious schools.
Eligible TOPICS
Any 30 – 80 second high-impact flash movie or video highlighting
or honoring the
US
armed forces.
RULES
All files must contain:

Music throughout the duration of the video

Video or Images of the Armed Forces and an example of heroism

Voiceover with the following text:
Think about
what it means to be an American soldier. When someone makes
the choice to join the armed forces, that person is saying, in
effect, "The values of liberty and freedom that define my
country must survive even if I must lose my life in their
defense." That is an enormous statement, an enormous
sacrifice.

GIFF's
2006 Student Video Contest
awards entries will be evaluated in terms of descriptive power,
editing, graphic design, overall message, completeness, substance, language,

THE GI FILM FESTIVAL:
The GI Film Festival (GIFF) honors the American
military through the medium of film.
The three-day festival will be held on

nation’s capitol. GIFF
will present films from international and domestic filmmakers that
honor the heroic stories of the American Armed Forces and the
worldwide struggle for freedom and liberty. The festival includes
