The GI Film Festival is pleased to announce that country music legend Lee Greenwood has joined the GI Film Festival’s Advisory Committee.  The festival will also screen a video covering Greenwood ’s 18th USO tour entertaining troops during a worldwide tour.

Greenwood is often identified as the first name that comes to mind when patriotism is mentioned in the entertainment industry.  After years of struggling to gain recognition in the music industry, one song—“God Bless the USA ”— singularly launched Lee Greenwood to stardom.

Lee Greenwood’s staying power is demonstrated by twenty successful touring years, thirty albums, numerous TV appearances, and hundreds of radio interviews.  Touring with the USO is just one of the many high-profile charity organizations to which Greenwood donates his time.
