GI Film Festival Issues Call for Entries

On December 8, 2006, the GI Film Festival announced its official call for entries. The GI Film Festival is now seeking films to screen at the 2007 festival to be held Memorial Day Weekend 2006, May 26-28, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. Filmmakers are encouraged to submit films that in some way honor the successes and sacrifices of American service men and women and the general worldwide struggle for freedom and liberty. The festival will award prizes for the top films in three main categories: Feature, Feature Documentary, and Shorts.

All film submissions will be processed by Withoutabox.com, a film submission consultant to more than 2,600 film festivals worldwide. Withoutabox.com was founded in January 2000 to serve as a network for independent filmmakers and their films - to directly access film festivals, film buyers, and film audiences throughout the world and to manage those relationships and transactions from a central console.
